Since 2024, ProctorU is being used to proctor all CAIB Exams, therefore a non-refundable $55 Exam Proctor Fee is being added to the cost of all CAIB courses. CAIB exams are being conducted online with a virtual proctor. Virtually proctored online exams can be written from the comfort of your home or any private space with an internet connection. Exams are conducted on two platforms—TopClass, where the exam is hosted, and ProctorU, where a virtual proctor monitors your exam. It’s the exam taker’s responsibility to secure a virtual proctor through ProctorU. Your specific exam start time will be determined during this process. Here’s a short video explaining the exam process.” Detailed instructions on exam registration will be emailed 3 weeks before the exam date. You'll be asked to accept the CAIB Examination Rules before beginning the examination.
If there are 8 or more exam candidates scheduled to write the CAIB exam on the same day at the same office, you may arrange to write an in-person group exam, proctored by a RIBO Level 3 Licensed Broker. Please contact Education Team to request for the CAIB In-Person Group Exam form.

Enrolment in a semester automatically enrolls you in the online CAIB Exam at the end of the term. It's the exam taker's responsibility to secure a virtual proctor through ProctorU. Your specific exam start time will be determined during this process. Detailed instructions will be emailed to you approximately three (3) weeks before the semester exam date.
It is a requirement to have been enrolled in an IBAO course previously to write the CAIB exam at the IBAO. If you are taking courses with a different provider, you are still required to register and enroll in an IBAO course at full fee to write the exam. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
